A Seminar on the topic ‘Intellectual Property Rights – Relevance to Academia’ was organized in the College under Faculty Development Programme on 20 November, 2018. Dr. Samriti Kapoor, the resource person made a comprehensive presentation on the topic. She elaborated on the various types of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and laws related to it. She also threw light on the infringement of IPR and its implications in India. The members were informed about the consequences of plagiarism and importance of Copyright law in the field of education.
